Closed for the Eclipse
All of human history fell to earth today
And forced us to view ourselves indirectly
challenged our sane observations
and brought back the echo of drumbeats
deep within the caves where we once took refuge
brought back the caustic memories

All of human history fluctuated briefly, brightly,

We saw reflected in the bright silence;
In the depth of that dark peace
What makes us brief and naked
and ready to dance across the corona
